Yes, applicants must submit a new application for each year they wish to study. If you applied for the 2025 intake but were not accepted at CPUT, you must reapply for the 2026 intake.
All applications must be submitted online unless otherwise stated on the official website. Your application will not be processed unless all required documents are submitted online at www.cput.ac.za.
Prospective students can apply online for up to two qualifications for the 2026 academic intake at CPUT. Both choices will be reviewed and considered during the selection process by the CPUT Admissions Committee.
Applicants may choose programs from the same faculty or from two different faculties. However, it is important to note that you must meet the admission requirements for both qualifications in order to be considered for either.

During the online application, CPUT will prompt you to upload your documents. Make sure to attach each document to the correct certificate code. If you don’t have your ID or passport ready during application, you must submit it before the deadline by emailing cputappdocs@cput.ac.za with your provisional reference/student number in the subject.
