Minimum Academic Qualifications

National Senior Certificate (NSC):

Generally, a pass in the National Senior Certificate (NSC) is required, which is obtained after completing Grade 12.
Students with a score of at least 30% in the language of instruction and 40% in four other subjects may qualify.

Grade 9 or 10:

Some TVET colleges accept students who have completed Grade 9 or 10, particularly for courses that do not require advanced qualifications.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL):

For mature students or those who may not have formal qualifications, RPL may be considered. This process assesses the skills and knowledge gained through work experience or other means.
