- Select “New Application” from the right of the page.
- Click on again the >NEW APPLICATIONS< Tab
- Choose from the drop box to proceed. This is to generate a student number that is unique to each and every student.
- If you don’t tick the I Accept Box, you can’t move on with the application process. We strongly advise you to read those terms carefully before agreeing to them.
COURSE REVIEW AND PROSPECTUS DOWNLOAD
- After reviewing the individual course prerequisites, select your course. Download the university prospectus and consult the course requirements before applying. These criteria will be used to make the decision. Please rethink your choice if it does not satisfy the requirements.
APPLICANT DETAILS
- Provide your Bio-data with precision and accuracy. These include your contact details, email address, residential address, and others.
DOCUMENT UPLOADS
- Continue to upload the necessary documents. These papers must be scanned individually and uploaded. The scanned files shouldn’t be larger than 5MB or 572KB. The file formats must be in pdf.
APPLICATION FEE
- Once you’ve downloaded the materials, go ahead and, if necessary, pay the application cost. Depending on the applicant’s qualifications and region, the application fee may vary. The proof of payment must be unloaded during the online application. The application form will be rejected without payment proof.

Central University of Technology Admission Requirements for selection
The number of slots available for a program heavily influences the selection. Meeting the admission requirement, on the other hand, is an important factor in the selection criteria. The most qualified applicants are chosen for the various programs. The requirements for degrees, diplomas, and certificates are listed below.
DIPLOMA
- Pass 6 of the 7 subjects offered;
- Of which 4 Subjects must be at least a 40% (level 3) achievement;
- Subjects include Home Language at 40% Compulsory Pass /excluding Life Orientation;
- 30% Pass in Language of Learning and Teaching (LOLT).
UNDERGRATE
- Pass 6 of the 7 subjects offered;
- Of which four Subjects must be at least a 50% (level 4) achievement;
- Including Home Language 40% Compulsory Pass /excluding Life Orientation;
- 30% Pass in the Language of Learning and Teaching (LOLT);
- The Department of Basic Education has revoked the list of designated subjects with effect from September 2018;
- The minimum admission requirements for a Bachelor’s degree programme remain the same, namely, a NSC with a minimum of 30% in the language of learning and teaching of the Higher Education Institution (HEI), coupled with an achievements rating of 4 (50-59%) or better in any four (4) NSC subject except Life Orientation.
