The DUT application process for students applying to manual programs for the 2025-2026 academic year is now open!

Here’s how to apply:

Online Application (Opens April 1st, 2024): The DUT website will offer a downloadable PDF application form on April 1st.
Hardcopy Application: You can collect a hardcopy application form from the University itself. Submission options include:
- In person at the University
- By mail
- By email

DUT 2025 Admissions

You can apply for up to 6 programs.
All applications are processed through the Central Application Office (CAO). You can visit their website cao.ac.za to complete the DUT application form online or download the application form.
The CAO is currently accepting applications for the 2025-2026 academic year as well.

DUT Application Dates For Application Fee Payments For 2025-2026

Since prospective applicants’ applications are processed through the central Application Office platform, all application fees must be paid to CAO. Your application forms and application fee must be received by CAO before the deadline for the course you are applying for. Late submission will incur additional charges, which will be paid to the CAO office as well.

South African applicants must pay an application fee of R250, while applicants from other countries must pay R300. This is only possible if you apply during the application period; otherwise, you will be charged a higher fee.
