How Do I Submit A TUT Application Online 2025-2026

Tshwane University of Technology is accepting applications for the 2025-2026 academic year from March 2024. This applies to both new and returning students. Applications can be submitted online or on paper. The deadline to apply varies depending on the program, but all applications must be submitted by September 30, 2024. Make sure you meet all the program requirements before applying.

The application is completed only once. You can continue with your application as long as you complete it before the deadline. However, you will be unable to continue your applications after the deadline. Follow the instructions on this page to submit your application online for the academic year 2024-2025.

When to Apply for Application at TUT For 2025 Admissions

TUT Online Application 2025-2026. The Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) Online Application 2025-2026 Academic Intake will be open from March 2024 and close on 30 September 2024. We wish to inform prospective students to apply for admission in January 2025 before the closing date or deadline.

Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) Application Requirements For 2025-2026

For you to apply online to the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT), you need to have the following documents:

South African Students

Recently certified (certification may not be not older than 6 months)
Copies of your original identity document
National Senior Certificate and highest academic results
The proof of application fee.

Foreign Students

Passport, and identification pages
Transcript, or latest academic result
Proof of registration at home university
Proof of medical insurance
Letter of recommendation
The Proof of application fee

TUT Administrative Fees for 2025-2026

Prospective applicants for the academic year 2025-2026 must pay a non-refundable application fee of R 240, which applies to both South African and foreign citizens. PAY ONLINE HERE.

TUT Online Application Process for 2024-2026:

Simply follow the steps below to submit your application to the TUT for the academic year 2025-2026

Step 1:

Visit the TUT application website at http://www.tut.ac.za/

Step 2:

Please provide your South African ID number OR Passport number to log in.

Step 3:

Fill in the required information on the online application form. An asterisk (*) denotes the REQUIRED/COMPULSORY Field.
Any of these will invalidate your application.

Step 4:

Upload all supporting documentation: Continue to upload the required files.
These documents must be scanned and uploaded individually.
The scanned files should not exceed 5MB or 572KB in size. Tiff, pdf, jpg, or gif file formats are required.

Step 5:

Pay the application fee for the academic year 2024-2025.
After paying for the application offline, upload the required receipt.

Step 6:

Submit the fully completed online application form for the academic year 2024/2025.
Once your application has been processed, you will be given a school number to use as identification while attending TUT.

Conditions for uploading supporting documents

All documents must be certified (except programme-specific requirements e.g. cover letter)
When uploading documents, ensure that the scanned file does not exceed 2MB and that all documents are scanned in any of the following file types: tiff, pdf, jpg or gif
Each document must be scanned and uploaded as separate attachments
Your application will not be processed until all documents have been submitted.
