North-West University’s online application will be open on April 01, 2023. That is, on April 1, 2023, you can begin the online application process. NWU Courses and Admission Requirements for the 2024/2025 academic year

Choose the course you want to apply for and study the entry requirements of that particular course. North-West University allows you to select TWO study programmes as part of your application. We encourage you to download the SMU prospectus and read about the requirements before applying for those courses. Meeting the minimum requirement does not guarantee admission because other factors must be considered, but it does increase your chances.

How to Apply Online at North-West University for 2024-2025

Now that you’ve determined your academic and non-academic requirements, proceed to the steps below to apply online for your program at North-West University.

Go to the online application platform at www.nwu.ac.za
Click on New application
Click on Create new student number and complete all the fields. Please note that it is illegal to use any ID number than your own when you create an NWU student number
When you receive a student number, use that together with the PIN number you created to log in
Complete all the fields. Use the yearbooks to obtain more information about the qualifications, modes of delivery and curricula
Upload supporting documents as listed above
Please make sure that you press the Submit Application button when you have finished ensuring that we receive your application.
