The University of the Witwatersrand’s (Wits) online application portal will be opened from March 1, 2024. Applications are accepted for all qualifications, including undergraduate certificates, diplomas and degrees, as well as postgraduate masters, honours and PhDs.

WITS Application Dates For 2025-2026

The online application form, including a PDF version, will be made available on the University of the Witwatersrand’s (Wits) website on March 1, 2024.
All undergraduate courses will be closed to South African and international students on September 30, 2024.
