To apply to the University of Venda for “admission in 2026”, follow the steps below

Final Stage of Application
To be eligible for admission to studies at UNIVEN, applicants must meet the following requirements for diploma, degree and certificate qualifications
Degree Programs: Applicants must have a National Senior Certificate (NSC) with an achievement rating of 4 (50-59%) in four 20-credit subjects. A minimum of 26 APS points is required. If you have completed Grade 12, you must also have a bachelor’s or matric exemption.
Diploma Programs: Applicants must have an NSC with an achievement rating of 3 (40-49%) in four 20-credit subjects.
Certificate Programs: The minimum requirement is an NSC.
Applicants to the University of Venda can expect to receive notification on their application status by the end of October 2025. Applicants can however check the status of their applications by following the steps below.
