How to Upload Documents at NWU After Submitting Application

This article is intended to assist all returning students who have already submitted an application and wish to submit supporting documents to North-West University. Any application received after the deadlines for any qualification will be automatically cancelled. You can still add any missing documents after the application has been submitted. Please keep in mind that it is illegal to use any ID number other than your own when creating an NWU student number.

North-West University (NWU) Online Application Closing Date For 2024-2025

All undergraduate and postgraduate applicants must complete and return the application form by August 31, 2023, including those from outside South Africa. The exact North-West University (NWU) application deadlines for 2024 admissions are listed below.>>>> application dates for 2024

Non-selection courses application will close on 31 August 2023
Selection Courses
- Music: 31 August 2023 – Audition must be done best before the deadline
- Graphic Design: 31 August 2023
- Engineering: 31 August 2023
- Occupational Hygiene: 31 August 2023
- Urban and Regional Planning: 31 August 2023
All other selection courses will close on 30 June 2023

Documents to be uploaded at NWU

Undergrad. Documents Required

Grade 12 results, grade 11 results (final results only) or a copy of your matric certificate – if you have already passed matric.
Applicants who are currently upgrading their grade 12 results, will only be considered after the improved results are presented to the NWU.
Applicants who follow Cambridge, GED or any other non-NSC curriculum, or who may qualify for exemption based on advanced age or post-school qualifications, must provide an exemption certificate as issued by USAF.

How to Upload Documents at NWU After Submitting Application

Follow the steps below to upload your documents

Step 1: Password to Upload Registration Documents

Make a note of the password that was provided in your “Application Confirmation SMS”. You will not be able to proceed without this.

Step 2: Student Number

Also known as your University Number

Step 3: Gmail Account

Use an existing Gmail address or create a new Gmail account

Sep 4: Academic Record

Have this on hand to check modules (not applicable to first-time entrants)

Sep 5; Biographical Information

Ensure that biographical/contact information is correct
You will be able to upload the document on the “Electronic Documents” page.
