Is Sol Plaatje University still open for applications 2024-2025

Sol Plaatje University (SPU) is still accepting applications for the academic year 2024-2025. Any prospective applicant who has yet to apply for admission to Sol Plaatje University for the academic year 2024-2025 can do so now because the application window remains open until December 2023.

Beginning on April 1, 2023, the application period will last until December 31, 2023, when the university will close all applications and start the selection process. Sol Plaatje University’s (SPU) application deadline has been extended until December 2023, so you can still submit an application.

All undergraduate course applications at Sol Plaatje University (SPU) will close on November 30, 2023, while postgraduate course applications will close on December 31, 2023. Late applications for undergraduate courses will be accepted in February 2024 if there are still spaces available. Because late applications are not guaranteed, it is preferable to apply now. An affidavit declaring that you have studied at another higher education institution (university or college). If you never enrolled at a university or college since completing high school, this must be declared in the affidavit.

An official academic transcript and a certificate of conduct from your previous college/university
A certified copy of your ID

How to Apply online at SPU

You must submit your application as soon as possible because the application period is limited. Because the application window at Sol Plaatje University (SPU) is still open, apply now by following the instructions below. Step 1: Personal Information

On the screen below, read Steps 1 and 2. SAVE your biographical information when you’ve completed it.
All fields indicated with a * must be completed.

Step 2: Register your Profile

Make a pin for your academic application.
Once your biographical data has been saved, the system will generate a reference number that will become your student number.
For a successful login, an applicant will receive the message below

Step 3: Accept the rules and regulations

Select Application and then View Application Rules from the drop-down menu.
Before clicking the [I Accept] button, read the Academic Applications regulations.

Step 4: Educational History

Select Schools Attended from the drop-down menu, then select a value from the drop-down menu to find your Senior Secondary School.
Select the appropriate school by clicking on it. SAVE the beginning year and month, then the ending year and month. If you make a mistake, press the Delete key and then SAVE.
Select Enter School Leaving Subjects from the drop-down menu.
Please refer to the table of values after your School Leaving Subjects, Grades, and Symbols. SAVE after selecting the correct Subject. An example of how to look for a school-leaving subject is as follows:

Step 5: Upload your certificates starting from your latest

Select the Certificates Seen option. SAVE after clicking on ID and uploading a scanned document.

Step 6: Disability Database (Optional)

Click on Disabilities to disclose if applicable and SAVE.

Step 7: Choose your qualification and submit your application

Click on Submit Application. To find a qualification, capture either %Retail%, BA, BEd, or BSC then press SEARCH.
Fill in the blanks after you’ve chosen your qualification: Academic Preference = 1 (Choice 1)
Continue by pressing SAVE. To apply for a different qualification, repeat the steps above. Academic Priority = 2 (Choice 2).
