TUT Online Application Conditions and Requirements

No student may be enrolled in a TUT program unless he or she has completed the online application process and entry requirements for the academic year 2025-2026. The prospectus contains the complete set of admission requirements, as well as all of the courses and statutory conditions.

How to Apply to The Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) for the First Time in 2025

Prospective students applying for the first time to TUT must either log in to the application at https://ienabler.tut.ac.za/pls/prodi41/WTUT017PKG.WTUT017frm and complete the online application form or download the hard copy from the official website and complete it with a black pen. You are not permitted to use both the hard copy and the online portal at the same time. During the academic year, you may only submit one application form.

To apply for admission, please visit www.tut.ac.za
Please provide your South African ID number OR Passport number to log in.
Fill in the required information on the online application form. An asterisk (*) denotes the REQUIRED/COMPULSORY Field. Any of these will invalidate your application.
Upload all supporting documentation: Continue to upload the required files. These documents must be scanned and uploaded individually. The scanned files should not exceed 5MB or 572KB in size. Tiff, pdf, jpg, or gif file formats are required.
Pay the application fee for the academic year 2025-2026.
Submit the fully completed online application form for the academic year 2025/2026.
Following the processing of the application, the applicant will be assigned a unique reference number (his/her student number) for identification purposes.

TUT Entry Requirements for 2025-2026 admissions

TUT admission requirements for entry-level programmes adhere to national legislation and therefore the following are required:

Bachelor’s degrees: at least four subjects at performance level 4.
Diplomas: at least four subjects at performance level 3.
