Grade 12 results, grade 11 results (final results only) or a copy of your matric certificate – if you have already passed matric.
Applicants who are currently upgrading their grade 12 results, will only be considered after the improved results are presented to the NWU.
Applicants who follow Cambridge, GED or any other non-NSC curriculum, or who may qualify for exemption based on advanced age or post-school qualifications, must provide an exemption certificate as issued by USAF.

How to Apply for NWU online 2025-2026

Go to www.nwu.ac.za to access the online application platform.

Select New application.

Step 3:

Complete all of the fields after clicking on Create new student number. Please keep in mind that it is illegal to use any ID number other than your own when creating an NWU student number.

Step 4:

When you receive a student number, log in with it and the PIN number you created.

Step 5:

Fill out all of the fields. Utilize the yearbooks to learn more about the qualifications, modes of delivery, and curricula.

Step 6:

Upload the above-mentioned supporting documents.
