If you were looking ahead to the 2026 opening date for Tshwane University of Technology (TUT), we are pleased to announce that applications for the 2026 academic year at TUT are officially open as of April 1, 2025. The application period for TUT is very short, and all applicants must submit all relevant documents within this timeframe. Applications for the 2026 academic year at TUT opened on April 1, 2025, and will close on September 30, 2025. This deadline applies to all courses offered across TUT’s various campuses. Any application submitted after this date will be considered a late application and will only be reviewed if there are vacancies in the selected courses.
A Senior Certificate with an APS of at least 20, or an equivalent qualification, is required to secure admission for any diploma, higher certificate, or bachelor’s degree at Tshwane University of Technology. Priority will be given to applicants who exceed the minimum entry requirements
Tshwane University of Technology conveniently accepts both online and manual applications. Prospective students can either apply online through the TUT website or download the application form, complete it manually, and submit it via postal mail.
