Applications open on Tuesday, April 1st, 2025 and close on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. Both new and returning students are welcome to apply through www.tut.ac.za

Documents required for the admissions process in 2025/2026

The following documents are required for the application process at Tshwane University of Technology (TUT). The majority of applications are rejected because the applicant failed to upload or submit all required documents. To avoid disappointment, ensure that the following documents are submitted during the application period:

A fully completed application form
Recently certified (certification may not be not older than 6 months)
Copies of your original identity document
National Senior Certificate and/or highest academic results
The proof of application fee.

TUT Application Fee Payable

The Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) has confirmed the 2026 application fee. Starting March 1, 2025, all applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of R240.00 for their applications to be processed

Applicants are advised to wait until they have begun their application before paying the fee, and to avoid using third-party payment services.
