TUT Online Application Status For 2026

Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) prioritizes a student-centered approach and has improved its online application and admission processes by providing an online portal for students to check their application status after the closing date. Students are encouraged to use this platform instead of visiting campus, except for technical issues or assistance with their application status.

The Tshwane University of Technology’s (TUT) system is loaded with all applications. Once your application has been loaded into the system, you will receive an SMS confirming that the institution has received it. Please keep in mind that this is NOT an acceptance notice.

How to Check TUT Application Status

The following step will necessitate the use of a smart device. To track your TUT application status on the TUT system:

Visit the Website – Go to www.tut.ac.za.
Access the Menu – Click on the MENU tab on the right side of the homepage.
Navigate to Admissions – Select STUDY AT TUT and click on I want to study.
Go to the Status Portal – You will be redirected to the Check your Admission Status page.
Enter Your Details – Input your ID number to view your application status and student number.
Alternative Option – If you don’t have an ID number, follow the provided instructions for alternative identification.
