UMP Application Dates for 2025/2026 Admissions

The University of Mpumalanga (UMP) is inviting applications from all prospective applicants writing their final exams in their respective second-cycle schools who intend to further their education. The application cycle opens on June 1, 2024, at midnight.

UMP offers a wide range of undergraduate, certificate, and diploma programs that are relevant to today’s world. For postgraduate students, the university also offers master’s and doctorate programs.

At least 40% Home Language proficiency.
50% for four other subjects, excluding Life Orientation.
30% for one other subject.
30% in Language of Learning and Teaching (LOLT) of the intended Higher Education Institution.
Pass at least 6 out of 7 subjects.
NSC Degree as an entry requirement in Programme Choice List.
