The University of the Free State (UFS) will be accepting applications for the 2025-2026 academic year starting Monday, April 1, 2024. Applications will be open until the end of September 2025 for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

Important Note: The application fee cannot be paid before the official opening date in April.

  • Certified ID or birth certificate

• Foreign Applicants:
  • A certified copy of your first-page passport

  • Proof of English language proficiency (if English wasn’t your medium of instruction)
  • Study Visa
