The administration of the University of Venda officially opened the online application form to all prospective applicants on April 01, 2023, and it will close on September 30, 2023. Late applications will not be considered at the University of Venda unless courses are still available after the deadline, which is 30 September 2023 for undergraduate students. For the academic year 2024-2025, all postgraduate programs will close on September 30, 2023.

The University of Venda will accept late applications for programs with available spaces as of the closing dates (NWU) for 2024 admissions. After the application deadline, meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee acceptance into a program.

Click on “Apply for Admission” at the top menu of the UNIVEN homepage
Begin Your Application
Click on the “Begin online application” tab to commence your application
Generate your student Number
An Academic Application Process opens for you to fill out
Read the information carefully and click on the I Accept Button
The Student number will be emailed to you
Please proceed to log into the myAccess webpage with your student number, to continue with your application
Choose your field of study and qualifications
Pay the Application Fee and Upload the necessary documents
Pay the Non Refundable Application fee either online or offline using any of the aforementioned platforms
Complete and submit your application online

Admission Advice for Univen Applicants in 2024

Meeting the minimum admission requirements for your chosen/intended programme of study does not guarantee admission, as limited spaces are available in each programme.
You must however meet all the minimum admission requirements for the programme you intend to study before you will be considered for admission.
Before you apply, download the univen prospectus and read about the statutory and university requirements of your preferred course.
Owing to specific capacity constraints, the University reserves the right to select candidates for admission to certain fields of study. This means that prospective students who comply with the minimum requirements will not automatically be admitted to the courses in question.
Because of the capacity limitations and the high demand from students for admission to particular fields of study, students will be selected on the basis of their Grade 12 results for admission to these fields.
