The following documents must be attached to the fully completed application form for 2027

Your ID if you are a South African citizen
Proof of English proficiency
Your final Grade 11 results with the school’s Stamp if you are still in Grade
Your academic record, only If you are a current student at another Institution of higher learning
USAF accreditation from the examination board for South African universities. Only if you are an international student.
Your passport if you are an international student
Your guardian/parent’s ID o passport if you are younger than 18 years
National Senior certificate if you have already matriculated

University of Limpopo Online Application Process for 2027

To apply to the University of Limpopo, simply go to www.ul.ac.za and take these actions.

Fresh Applicants/FTES

Go to the academic application portal
Since you are applying for the first time, select No from the drop box
Complete the online application form by providing your personal details, academic qualifications, previous schools attended
Choose at least 3 study courses which could come from any faculty or the same faculty
Upload a certified copy of your ID document, academic results from your previous institutions
Once your application is completed, the system will automatically generate a reference or student number for you

Returning Students

Log in on I-enabler
Go to the academic application
View and accept the application rules by clicking the Accept button
Visit the school attended section on the application form
Select and save the name of your previous schools. You can manually add your school if your school is not listed
Enter your school leaving subjects
Click None if you do not have any physically challenged issue otherwise select the options applicable to you
Go to the submit applications and enter your academic preference qualification
Ensure you save every page before you continue

Entry Requirements of the University of Limpopo for 2027

Prospective students, with an NSC, who wish to gain entry to any undergraduate programme at the University of Limpopo, should comply with the following:

Life Orientation with an achievement level of at least three (3).
Aligned with the language policy of the university, English as a language of learning and teaching with an achievement level of at least three (3).
The required minimum levels of achievement in specific subjects as stipulated in the Calendars of each Faculty, provided that:
- Four 20-credit subjects were achieved with a minimum NSC achievement level of four (4) for degree programmes and
- Four 20-credit subjects were achieved with a minimum NSC achievement level of three (3) for diploma programmes.
The required Admission Point Score (APS) as stipulated in the Calendars of each Faculty.
