Prospective students are invited to visit the online application portal to complete and submit the mandatory online application form. When to Apply for WITS 2027
The WITS 2027 academic application period opens on 1 March 2026 and closes on 30 September 2026, giving prospective students roughly seven (7) months to complete their applications.
Important deadlines for specific programmes:
- All programmes in the Faculty of Health Sciences, Bachelor of Architectural Studies, Bachelor of Audiology, Bachelor of Speech-Language Pathology, and BA Film and TV close on 30 June 2026.

To apply for WITS, prospective students must meet the following requirements:
- National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) with English Home Language or First Additional Language at level 4 or higher
- Admission Point Score (APS) is used as a selection criterion; a competitive APS increases your chances of admission
