CPUT Student Blackboard Login

The Cape Peninsula University of Technology offers Blackboard, a platform for students to access essential study information. If you need help logging in, follow these simple steps.

Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) has introduced the CPUT Blackboard Learning Management System (LMS), Myclassroom, to facilitate online lectures, lecture notes, and assignment submissions. Interestingly, Lecturers can upload courses, and materials, and communicate important events to students in real-time.

Students can access their academic work on the CPUT Blackboard, and staff members can sign in with a third-party account by authenticating their Office 365 account. First-year students of CPUT are oriented via the CPUT blackboard. Again, CPUT students can complete their online tests and interact with fellow students.

CPUT Blackboard Mobile App

The CPUT Blackboard mobile app is available for free on Android and IOS devices, featuring both lecturers’ and students’ apps.

To access, log in to Cape Peninsula University of Technology using the same username and password as the web login.

Logging in to Blackboard at CPUT

Here are the steps for Logging in to Blackboard:

Open the Google Chrome browser.
Type www.myclassroom.cput.ac.za
Click on “Student Login” found on the CPUT Blackboard login page
Key in your full CPUT university email address in the username field.
Type your password in the password field.
Click “Next” to log in.

Forgot Password

Send an Email to ctsservicedesk@cput.ac.za.
Add your student number.
Request password reset.

Course Access Process

Log in and locate “My Activities” on the right side.
Find all registered subjects.
Click on the desired subject name.

Logging Out of Blackboard

Find your name in the upper-right corner or left panel.
Click the “Logout” button or “Sign Out” at the list bottom.
