UniZulu Admission Requirements For 2026 Intake

The minimum entry requirement for the University of Zululand degree, diploma, and higher certificate programs is a National Senior Certificate (NSC) with the following criteria:

  • A minimum of 30% in the language of learning and teaching at the higher education institution, certified by Umalusi.
  •     An achievement rating of 4 (Adequate Achievement, 50-59%) or higher in four subjects chosen from the recognized 20-credit NSC subjects
