How to Register Online at TUT for the 2026 Academic Year
Online registration for new and returning students at Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) has officially started for the 2026 academic year. This process is required to ensure a smooth start to the school year and enrollment in the program of your choice.

Registration for TUT first-time students runs from January 10 to February 17, 2026, while returning students must register between January 14 and January 31, 2026. All students are advised to complete their registration online

How to Do Online Registration at the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT)
To register at Tshwane University of Technology TUT for 2026, follow the steps below:
Step № I: Go to the student portal (www.tut.ac.za) to check your admission status. Enter your student number and PIN
Step № II: Accept the admission offer on the student portal
Step № III: Click on Registration
Step № IV: Check your courses, Tuition fees, and registration fees (TUT Registration fee is R1,500.00)
Step № V: Complete your Registration fee and Tuition fee
Step № VI: Update your personal details if necessary
Step № VII: Complete the registration form
Step № VIII: Select Courses ——> Click on Submit. You will receive a confirmation notice immediately
Step № IX: Upload Registration documents before the closing date
Step № X: Click on Logout to close the application.
Once you have completed your registration, you should contact TUT for your student card. If you are unable to apply online, you may submit a paper application by printing the forms from the official website. Attach all registration documents and proceed to make the registration fee payment of R1, 500.
