MUT 2026 Late Admission Entry For Available Courses
The Mangosuthu University of Technology (MUT) has confirmed that late applications for the 2026 academic year are still open, giving prospective students another opportunity to apply for programmes with available space.

Mode of Applications
All undergraduate applications at MUT are processed through the Central Applications Office (CAO). Direct applications are only accepted for postgraduate studies, such as Honours, Master’s, and Doctoral programmes.
Applicants are advised to visit www.cao.ac.za to complete their applications, as late applications are subject to space availability.
MUT Key Closing Date

Late Application Fees
For 2026 late applications, applicants are required to pay an application fee through the CAO, based on their citizenship status, as outlined below:
- R470 – South African citizens
- R580 – International applicants
How to Pay
Make sure the correct application fee is paid to avoid delays in processing your application. If you pay through EasyPay, remember to clearly indicate your CAO number on the payment slip. Online payment is also accepted.

Documents Required for MUT 2026 Late Applications
Application documents (for South African applicants)
- Grade 11 final results, Grade 12 June exam results, National Senior Certificate, or Statement of Results
- Identity Document or ID card
- Students transferring from other universities should submit an academic record and a certificate of conduct
Non-South African applicants
- A valid passport
- Valid medical insurance cover
- Police clearance certificate
- SGCE, GCE, GCSE, IGCSE, or Cambridge School Certificate
Incomplete applications may not be processed.

Steps to Apply for MUT 2026 Late Applications
All first-time undergraduate students are required to visit the CAO official website to complete their 2026 late application. Follow the steps below to submit your application successfully:
- Go to www.cao.ac.za and ensure your internet connection is strong.
- Find out which courses are still open and make sure you meet all academic requirements.
- Click the “Apply” button, choose your country, and enter your ID number to register.
- Complete your registration by creating a profile with your details.
- Input your full name, email address, cell phone number, and residential address.
- Provide names, addresses, and contact details of your next-of-kin.
- Choose Mangosuthu University of Technology (MUT) as one of your institutions.
- Pick up to three courses you want to apply for and ensure you meet their requirements.
- Upload certified copies of your application materials.
- Review your application carefully and submit it before the deadline.
