Admission Requirements – North-West University

NWU has set minimum academic requirements for entry into its 2027 programmes, mainly based on the South African National Senior Certificate (NSC) results.

  • Applicants with qualifications from other examination systems will be assessed individually.
  • Meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee admission, as entry is competitive. Factors include:

    • Availability of space in the chosen programme
    • Higher results increase the likelihood of acceptance
