The North-West University (NWU) online application fee for the academic year 2025–2026 is now available. Prospective candidates should be aware of North-West University’s application fee policies and, most crucially, the banking information before planning to apply for undergraduate or graduate degrees. Before the official closing date, all application materials, including evidence of application fee payment, must be received by NWU.

North-West University, also known as NWU, has published the application fee for 2025-2026 applications. Prospective students who want to enrol in a course must know whether or not the application fee is required. North-West University’s (NWU) online application is open and will close on August 31, 2024.

The North-West online application fee is a non-refundable fee paid by prospective NWU students in order for their application forms to be processed for admission consideration. If applicants do not meet the requirements and thus have their application form rejected, the money will not be refunded.

What are the application fee details at NWU?

Before your application for admission to North-West University can be processed, you must pay an application fee. If you pay for the application, you will not receive a refund if you are not admitted for the upcoming academic year. However, if you do not pay the application fee, your application will be rejected. The application forms must be submitted along with a copy of your payment proof. Instead of the original, the university requires a photocopy of the receipt.

How much is the application fee for North-West University?

The North-West University application fee is R550 for international students exclusively, and it is non-refundable for the 2025–2026 school year. There is no application fee if you are a citizen of South Africa.

  • For online applications, visit the application portal at www.nwu.ac.za
  • Choosing a New application.

Register your Profile

  • Go to create a new student number.
  • Complete the boxes and enter a new student number.
  • Use your student number along with the PIN number you made to log in.

Complete the online form

  • Complete all fields with exact and accurate data.
  • Do not skip any required field

Upload all the supporting documents

  • Upload any necessary supporting documents in the appropriate format.
  • Upload them one after the other

Pay the Necessary application fee

  • The application is free for South African Applicants and R575 for international students.
  • This must be paid before you can submit the online application.
  • Upload the proof of payment of the application fee

Submit them for Review

  • Application submission is made by clicking the submit button
  • Hit the submit button after completing the online form
