UNIVEN 2026 Applications Are Now Open – Apply Today

Applications for the 2026 academic year at the University of Venda (UNIVEN) are now open. If you’re planning to pursue a diploma, higher certificate, bachelor’s degree, master’s, or doctoral program at UNIVEN next year, it’s time to begin your application process.

You can apply either online or through the manual application process at UNIVEN. To be considered for admission, ensure you complete the application, upload all required supporting documents, and meet the academic requirements. Don’t forget to submit everything before the closing date.

UNIVEN Application Closing Date for 2026

Applications for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs at the University of Venda (UNIVEN) for the 2026 academic year will officially close on Friday, 26 September 2025.

Applicants must complete the application form and submit all required supporting documents. There is no application fee required. Please note that late applications will not be considered and will be automatically disqualified.

Application Materials Required

Yu will need the following documents to apply to the University of Venda

A copy of your ID or Passport
Your Grade 11 final (December) results, stamped by your school
Academic record and certificate of good conduct (Transfer students)
A copy of your study/residence permit, medical insurance, or SAQA Evaluation (International applicant)
Your ID number or student reference number

How to Apply at University of Venda

Follow these simple steps to apply to the University of Venda for the 2026 academic season:

Visit the official UNIVEN website at www.univen.ac.za.
Choose the “APPLY ONLINE” option.
Read and accept the POPI Act terms.
Create a 5-digit PIN
Click on the “Next Button” to continue.
Provide the full names of all your relatives and those responsible for your payments.
Enter your contact details, including address and phone number.
Select the type of qualification you’re applying for (undergraduate or postgraduate).
Input your school leaving certificate number and the year of your matriculation/Grade 12.
Complete all required fields, including both personal and academic details.
Provide the name of the most recent high school you attended.
Choose a minimum of three study courses.
Upload all necessary supporting documents.
Review all your entered information for accuracy.
Confirm that all details are correct and submit your application.
Complete your application by pressing the ‘submit’ button.
Upon submission, you will receive a student number.
