The following application deadlines were established by the University of Limpopo (UL) for the 2025/2026 academic year:

  • Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degrees: Applications will close on September 28, 2024.
  • All Undergraduate Programmes (excluding MBChB): Applications will close on October 30, 2024.
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education: Applications will close on October 31, 2024.

University of Limpopo (UL) Application Fees – 2025-2026 Cycle

For the 2025-2026 application cycle, a fee of R200 will be charged by the University of Limpopo (UL) to South African applicants. An application fee of R750 will be charged by the University of Limpopo (UL) to international applicants.

Cash payment: Cash payments must be made at the cashier’s Office. For this year’s application, the University of Limpopo (UL) will not accept cash on its campus

How to Apply to University of Limpopo (UL) Online for Admission 2025-2026

To submit an application form, prospective applicants must follow the steps outlined below. A step cannot be omitted for any reason. You must follow all of the instructions listed below to apply to the University of Limpopo (UL):

  • Check the box ” I Accept”. to proceed

Register your profile

  • Enter your Biographical details, Contact Information, Residence Information, and nationality. ( Please enter your biographical details in CAPS.)
  • Click on the Next Button to continue to the next page
  • Following that, you will receive an email with your Student Number and a temporary pin. You have the option of changing or keeping the pin.

Log in with your new student number

  • Login now with your student number and pin.

Choose your field of studies

  • After reviewing the individual course prerequisites, select your course. Download the university prospectus and consult the course requirements before applying. These criteria will be used to make the decision. Please rethink your choice if it does not satisfy the requirements.

Pay the Required Fee

  • Pay the application fee and upload the proof of payment on the portal during the online submission

Upload the supporting documents

  • Continue to upload the necessary documents. These papers must be scanned individually and uploaded. The scanned files shouldn’t be larger than 5MB or 572KB. The file formats must be in tiff, pdf, jpg, or gif.
  • Remember to save every page before you proceed to the next page. You will lose your data if you fail to save it before you continue

Submit your application

Admission Requirements for selection in 2025/2026 at the University of Limpopo (UL)
