Although the deadline has passed, Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) is currently accepting and receiving applications for specific programs and courses for the academic year 2025-2026 from all qualified undergraduate and postgraduate students. How to Apply online to the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) For 2025
Comply with the following steps to apply for your course at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Step 1:
- Visit the Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) application website at http://www.tut.ac.za/
Step 2:
- Please provide your South African ID number OR Passport number to log in.
Step 3:
- Fill in the required information on the online application form. An asterisk (*) denotes the REQUIRED/COMPULSORY Field. Any of these will invalidate your application.
Step 4:
- Upload all supporting documentation: Continue to upload the required files. These documents must be scanned and uploaded individually. The scanned files should not exceed 5MB or 572KB in size. Tiff, pdf, jpg, or gif file formats are required.
Step 5:
- Pay the non-refundable application fee of R240 and upload the receipt
Step 6:
- Submit the fully completed online application form for the academic year 2025.
- Once your application has been processed, you will be given a school number to use as identification while attending TUT.
TUT Paper-based Application for 2025
You can print a hard copy of the application form from the official website and fill it out by hand with a pen. Application forms and supporting documentation must be submitted to the Admissions Office. You have two options for submitting your application form and supporting documents:
- Forms can be hand-delivered at the Central Admissions Office, Building 21-LG20, Pretoria Campus, Staatsartillerie Road, Pretoria West
