CPUT Application Closing Dates for 2027 Intake: Apply Online Now

Applications for the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) 2027 undergraduate intake, which opened on Monday, 11 May 2026, are fast approaching their closing dates. Many programmes have already reached, or are close to reaching, their intended intake capacity.

Prospective students who have not yet submitted their applications are strongly encouraged to do so as soon as possible, as there is very little time remaining before applications close.

In this article, we highlight the closing dates for all undergraduate programmes published by the university at the start of the application period. We also provide an overview of the time remaining for applicants to make informed decisions and complete their applications before the respective deadlines.

Why the Deadline?

CPUT’s 2027 application deadlines vary across programmes, faculties, and, in some cases, according to an applicant’s citizenship status. This makes it essential for prospective students to be aware of the specific closing date for their chosen programme.

Late applications are rarely considered, as priority is given to applications submitted on or before the stipulated deadlines. In addition, admission spaces are limited, meaning only a certain number of applicants can be accommodated in each programme. Applicants are therefore encouraged to apply early to maximize their chances of securing a place.
