When to Apply
Prospective students applying for diploma, certificate, degree, or honours programs can access the CPUT 2026 application form starting May 13, 2025. All applicants must complete the online application and submit the necessary supporting documents before the deadline.

- Minor Application Declaration (Less than 18 years)

- English Translation Final Grade 11 equivalence results
- Final Grade 12 equivalence results
- Letter confirming registration for upgrading of results
- Final Grade 12/School Leaving Results
- Academic Record: Certificate of Conduct and Qualifications obtained
- Passport/Asylum Seeker/Permanent Residency permits
- SAQA Certificate
- Previous Studies & Final Grade 11 equivalence translation
CPUT Application Process for 2026
All new and returning students must follow the steps outlined below to complete their CPUT 2026 online applications:
Step 1: Choose a course
- Select a qualification you want to pursue.
- Download the prospectus here
- You can select up to three courses to improve your chances.
Step 2: Complete the form
- Download the application form and complete it manually or complete the online application form by following the screen instructions
- Completed application forms and accompanying documents must be submitted to the Admissions Office. You can submit your application form and accompanying documents in two ways:
- Forms can be hand-delivered at the campus where the programme is offered. The venues of offering of all programmes are outlined in the application form.
- Forms can also be posted to the Admissions Office at the campus where the programme is offered
Step 3: Upload and Submit the forms
- Gather your documents or upload further/ outstanding documents.
- Pay the application fee if you applied manually
- Submit them online if you completed the online application form.
Step 4: Track your application
- Prospective applicants, who have submitted an application, can track the progress of their application online or by calling.
