DUT Online Application 2026 Closing Date
Durban University of Technology has announced the application deadlines for the 2026 academic year, including both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The DUT online application portal, which opened on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, will close at varying dates depending on the chosen program. Required Documents for DUT 2026 Applications (When to Submit)
The following documents must be submitted to Durban University of Technology as soon as possible before the application deadline. If any required documents are missing, you must upload them within the application period to avoid jeopardizing your admission.
Uploading Online Documents Instructions
- Each document must be scanned, saved and uploaded individually against each uploading Certificate code as indicated
- All documents should be scanned in any of the following file types: tiff, pdf, jpg or gif
- The maximum scanned file size is 5MB each.

How to Apply for DUT 2026
Durban University of Technology encourages both new and returning students to apply online at www.cao.ac.za, with an application fee of R300 for international applicants and R250 for domestic applicants. For those who prefer to apply manually, applicants can download and complete the form, then submit it along with the applicable fee at any of the campus locations. Manual applications will also be accepted by post or email.
