How to Reapply to UNIVEN for the 2026 Academic Year

The University of Venda has officially reopened the application process for returning students for the 2026 academic year. Both undergraduate and postgraduate students are now invited to reapply.

All reapplications must be submitted through the UNIVEN online portal before the specified deadlines. For more detailed information on readmission to UNIVEN for 2026, please continue reading this article.

Prospective applicants who applied for the 2026 admissions but were not accepted can now reapply. UNIVEN is currently accepting applications from all candidates, including those who applied previously.

When to Reapply to UNIVEN 2026

Prospective applicants who were not admitted for the 2025 academic year are now encouraged to reapply for the 2026 academic intake at the University of Venda. The university is currently accepting applications from all candidates, including those who applied in the past. The application deadlines are:

Undergraduate Applicants: September 26, 2025
Postgraduate Applicants: September 30, 2025

Application Fee for UNIVEN Re-admissions for 2026

There is no application fee required for reapplying for undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the University of Venda for the 2026 academic year. Prospective students are advised to apply early, as late submissions will only be considered if there are still available spaces.

How to Reapply at University of Venda

Follow these steps to reapply as a returning student at the University of Venda for the 2026 academic intake:

Visit www.univen.ac.za
Click on the APPLY at the top of the page.
Select Apply Now and choose the Returning Student tab.
Enter your student number and PIN to access the portal.
If you’ve forgotten your PIN, click Request a PIN, enter your student number, and check your registered email for the new PIN.
Once logged in, complete all the required fields.

To apply for readmission to the University of Venda for the 2026 academic year, follow these steps:

Download the 2026 Readmission Application Form from the official UNIVEN website: www.univen.ac.za.
Fill out the form completely, ensuring that all questions are answered clearly and accurately in black ink (pen).
Submit the completed application form along with all required supporting documents.

Your Grade 11 final results (if still in school)
