Medunsa 2024 Late Applications Now Open
The Medunsa University, now Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University (SMU), has officially announced the late applications. The application period for Medunsa University’s 2024 admissions is still ongoing, so if you haven’t already done so, apply right now at www.smu.ac.za. After the official closing date, late applications are not a guarantee, so don’t rely on them.
The online application form and portal for Medunsa University will finish on July 29, 2023, for undergraduate applications, while the deadline for postgraduate applications for 2024 will be extended to September 30, 2023. We urge students and applicants seeking a new qualification at Medunsa University to apply immediately. At the same time, the site is still available and accepting new applicants because Medunsa typically does not open for late applications after the closing date.

Normally, Medunsa University won’t take late applications from applicants living outside of South Africa into consideration. As a result, only the top applicants are often accepted into the various courses, both at the undergraduate and graduate levels. You must perform better than the minimal academic requirements in order to get admitted. Even if you satisfy the admission requirements, there is no guarantee that you will receive an offer. You must achieve success in your Matriculation examinations or with the certification you are using to apply.

Prospective students who would like to join Medunsa now have the chance to do so since the university is accepting applications for the intake of 2024. The SMU online application is available whether you’re looking for undergraduate or graduate degrees from April 3 until September 30, 2024. However, the last day for undergraduate applications is July 29. You must fill out the online application form by going to the Medunsa University application portal at www.smu.ac.za. After paying the R200 application fee, attach the receipt by uploading it to www.smu.ac.za.

- ID/passport document (compulsory).
- Grade 11 end-of-year examination results or your National Senior/Matric/IEB Certificate (if you have already completed Grade 12).
- Degree certificate(s) and academic record(s) (if you attended other universities).
- Marriage certificate (if applicable).
- Proof of non-refundable application fee payment
- An Email and Phone Number

Once you have all your documents ready, follow the steps below to apply to Medunsa University for the 2024 academic year:
- Log in to the SMU application portal at www.smu.ca.za.
- Enter Your identity Number and create an account
- Fill out the online application form completely and accurately.
- Please include the names of your first and second choices for degrees (if applicable).
- Pay the non-refundable application fee of R200; and
- Upload certified copies of all supporting documents
- You will receive an SMS/email notification confirming the submission of your application form for 2024.
