Medunsa 2025 Late Applications Now Open

Have you missed the Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University (SMU) application deadline? Don’t worry, you still have a chance to apply through late applications, as Medunsa University, now Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University (SMU), has officially announced the late application date for the 2025 academic year. This application period allows students to apply for courses that are still open at SMU, even after the official application deadline has passed.

Application Date and Late Enrolment 2025

The undergraduate online application form and portal of Medunsa University have already closed, while the postgraduate application deadline for 2025 has been extended until September 30, 2024. If prospective students want to enroll at Medunsa University, we recommend that they wait until the late application period. Although Medunsa does not usually accept applications after the deadline, there is still hope because numerous courses have yet to be filled.

International Applications

Generally, Medunsa University does not consider late submissions from applicants living outside of South Africa. This means that if you want to secure an admissions offer, you (foreign applicants) should submit your applications for 2025 as soon as possible. International undergraduate and graduate applicants must submit all application documents by July 29 and September 30, 2024, respectively.

Since Medunsa University specializes in the health sciences, it faces competition for the limited courses it does offer. As a result, only the top applicants are often accepted into the various courses, both at the undergraduate and graduate levels. You must perform better than the minimal academic requirements in order to get admitted. Even if you satisfy the admission requirements, there is no guarantee that you will receive an offer. You must achieve success in your Matriculation examinations or with the certification you are using to apply.
