When to Apply for Admission at Nelson Mandela University for 2027
The 2027 application cycle opened on 1 April 2026. Prospective students must ensure that their applications and all required supporting documents are submitted before the relevant deadlines below:

Bachelor of Radiography (Diagnostic): 1 April – 30 June 2026

NMU Application Documents and Submission Deadlines for 2027
The following documents are required to be submitted to Nelson Mandela University (NMU) by all applicants before the course application deadline. Missing documents must be uploaded by the deadline to avoid application rejection.
Undergraduate Applicants:
- A verified copy of your Grade 11 final test results, or
- A certified copy of your most recent Grade 12 exam results (June/September only), or
- A certified copy of your matriculation certificate/statement of results if you have completed Grade 12, and
- Certified copies of any diplomas/degrees, academic records, and certificates of conduct earned at other institutions, and
- A certified copy of your ID (or birth certificate if you are awaiting your ID), and
- A certified copy of your parent/legal guardian/surety’s ID, and
- A declaration from your parent/legal guardian/surety if you are a dependent, currently enrolled in school, studying at a tertiary institution, or recently left school and do not have permanent employment.
Postgraduate Applicants:
- A certified copy of your matriculation/school leaving certificate, and
- Certified copies of your diplomas/degrees, academic records, and certificates of conduct, and
- A certified copy of your ID, and
- A certified copy of your parent/legal guardian/surety’s ID, and
- A declaration from your parent/legal guardian/surety if you are a dependent, studying at a higher education institution, or do not have permanent employment, and
- A completed postgraduate (U24) application form.
International Applicants:
- Proof of application fee payment, and
- An unexpired passport (valid for at least 3 months from the application date).
Uploading Online Documents:
- Each document must be scanned individually and uploaded according to the specified uploading certificate code.
- All documents must be scanned in one of the following formats: TIFF, PDF, JPG, or GIF.
- The maximum file size for each scanned document is 2MB.
