Apply Now for the 2025-2026 Academic Year at Cape Peninsula University of Technology! The Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) is pleased to announce that the application form for the 2025-2026 academic year is now available for download. Prospective students interested in studying a course at CPUT can download the form from the university’s official website.

We encourage all interested students to apply as soon as possible. Applications for the 2025-2026 academic year will be accepted until 15 March 2025, and late applications will be rejected

Important Application Information for Prospective CPUT Students

Before you apply:

  • Download the CPUT prospectus and research the application requirements for your desired course(s) at www.cput.ac.za
  • Carefully review the admission requirements and ensure you meet all the criteria for your chosen course(s).

Submitting your application:

  • Complete the application form and attach all required documents (as listed in the prospectus).
  • Submit your completed application form and documents in person at any CPUT campus.

Important notes:

  • Manual posted or over-the-counter applications are not accepted except for specific programs with stated exceptions. Please refer to the prospectus for details.
  • Applicants can only select a maximum of three courses on one application form. Any applications exceeding this limit will be rejected.

We encourage you to start your application process early to avoid any delays.

 

The Cape Peninsula University of Technology Application

Applicants to the Cape Peninsula University of Technology must meet the following requirements

  • Apply to CPUT by the application deadlines – Open from May 15th 2024 to March 15th, 2025.
  • All required documents must be certified (Latest results, ID, Academic certificates and the rest)
  • All academic requirements of the courses chosen must be met.
  • Have a valid and operational email address and phone number
  • Ensure that all required fields are filled out.

CPUT Application Fee Requirement

There is no application fee payable for online applications

A non-refundable R100 application fee (or R150 late applications fee, should CPUT advertise the availability of space in programmes applied for after the closing application period) must accompany the manual form. Please ensure that you attach the original proof of payment.

Send in your form and documents

Completed application forms and accompanying documents must be submitted to the Admissions Office. You can submit your application form and accompanying documents in two ways:

  • Forms can be hand-delivered at the campus where the programme is offered. The venues of the offering of all programmes are outlined in the application form.
  • Forms can also be posted to the Admissions Office at the campus where the programme is offered, by using the addresses below.
