Rhodes University Undergraduate Entry Requirements

To be eligible for admission to a bachelor’s degree, diploma, or higher certificate program at Rhodes University, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Degree Programs Admission Requirements:

  • A National Senior Certificate (NSC) with a minimum achievement rating of 4 (50-59%) in at least four 20-credit subjects.
  • A minimum of 26 APS points.
  • If you have completed Grade 12, you must have either a bachelor’s or matric exemption to qualify for admission.

Diploma and Certificate Programmes:

  • Applicants must have an NSC with an achievement rating of 3 (40-49%) in at least four 20-credit subjects.
