Rhodes University Undergraduate Entry Requirements

To be eligible for admission to a bachelor’s degree, diploma, or higher certificate program at Rhodes University, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Degree Programs Admission Requirements:

A National Senior Certificate (NSC) with a minimum achievement rating of 4 (50-59%) in at least four 20-credit subjects.
A minimum of 26 APS points.
If you have completed Grade 12, you must have either a bachelor’s or matric exemption to qualify for admission.

Diploma and Certificate Programmes:

Applicants must have an NSC with an achievement rating of 3 (40-49%) in at least four 20-credit subjects.

How to Apply RU Undergraduate 2027 (Diploma, Higher Certificate & Bachelor’s Degree)

To successfully complete Rhodes University’s undergraduate application form 2027, follow these steps:

Go to www.ru.ac.za and access the ROSS home page.
Click the “REGISTER” link to begin your application.
Provide your ID number (SA ID card or valid passport).
Accept the POPI Act terms to proceed.
Create a new user account by entering your personal details and contact information.
Check your email (including the spam folder) for your reference number.
After confirmation, continue with your application.
You can save your progress and return to finish it later.
Ensure all required documents are submitted before the deadline.
Complete all necessary fields.
Choose at least two undergraduate courses.
