- All documents should be scanned in any of the following file types: tiff, pdf, jpg or gif
- The maximum scanned file size is 5MB each.

How to Apply for Sefako Makgatho 2026
Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University encourages both new and returning students to apply online at www.smu.ac.za for a fee of R300. However, if applicants prefer to apply manually, they can download and complete the form, then submit it along with the same fee at any of the campus locations. Please note that manual applications will not be accepted by post or over the counter.
