Walter Sisulu University (WSU) Late Application 2024/2025 – Are you still interested in applying to Walter Sisulu University (WSU) for the academic year 2024/2025? Although the official deadline has passed, the university is still accepting new applicants as soon as possible. This period is intended to allow applicants who were unable to apply to submit their application forms as soon as possible. There are still Walter Sisulu University (WSU) courses and faculties accepting new students. If you do not meet the September/October entrant deadline, you may have to reapply for the following year.

Late admission application dates

Walter Sisulu University (WSU)’s management has announced the application deadlines for late entrants. The official deadline for general applications will be in a few weeks, and late applications are expected to begin immediately after the deadline. Because there are only a few slots available, late admissions will be available for a limited time.

Deadline for Walter Sisulu University (WSU) Online Application Closing

  • Undergraduate Application Deadlines: 30th October 2023 @ 11: 59:59 Midnight
  • Postgraduate Submission Deadlines: 30th October 2023 @ 11: 59:59 Midnight
  • International Application Closing Date: 30th September 2023 @ 11: 59:59 Midnight

Required documents for Late admissions

Late applicants are to submit the following documents as early as possible. Applications submitted without any of these documents will be declined for admission.

New Applicants: First-time applicants/Applying for the first time in 2023

  • The certificate “Old Senior”
  • Grade 11 final results, as well as first quarter or mid-year results, if available, must be uploaded by current grade 12 students.
  • Candidates for post-matric must provide a matric or equivalent certificate, academic record, and a copy of their ID or passport.

Transfer Applicants: If you are already in a tertiary institution

  • Matric Certificate
  • Post-Matric Certificate
  • Identity Document
  • Official Academic Report
  • Conduct Certificate.

Foreign or International must submit the following:

  • A certified copy of your native country’s identification document
  • A certified copy of your passport number from your home country
  • Study Visa in South Africa
  • Medical Report
  • English Proficiency For Undergraduate programs, proof of IELTS with an overall score of 6 and TOEFL with an average score of 80–104 is required
  • Sworn English Translation of documents (Documents issued in any Language other than English).
