The SPU application window for the 2026 academic year is now open. Due to the limited number of spaces available for first-year undergraduate and postgraduate students, only a small percentage of applicants will be accepted. When to Apply to SPU 2026

Prospective Sol Plaatje University students: note the online application dates!

Prospective students wishing to study at SPU for the 2026 academic year can now submit their applications, which are open to all applicants, regardless of country or language. Applications open on April 1, 2025, and close on October 31, 2025. This is the only opportunity to apply online for undergraduate and postgraduate programs, and all supporting documents must be submitted by the deadline to avoid rejection.

Application Fee: Sol Plaatje University Does Not Require an Application Fee

Sol Plaatje University (SPU) does not charge an application fee for admission. Be cautious and never pay money to any agent claiming to work on behalf of SPU. Applications for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses can be submitted for free directly through the official university portal.

SPU Application Document Deadlines
