The Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) will accept applications for the 2026 academic intake from April 1 to September 30, 2025. All application documents, along with proof of payment for the application fee, must be submitted by the close of September 30, 2025.

Prospective students must pay a non-refundable R240 application fee before starting the online process, as the portal requires a deposit reference number for form processing.
All prospective students are required to deposit the exact application fee into the account below. A scanned copy of the pay-in slip should be uploaded, and the original copy must be kept for your records

To complete and submit your online application, visit the official university website and click Apply Now on the dashboard to be directed to the application portal.
The TUT online application portal provides applicants with access to the 2026 application form. Alternatively, you can download and print the application form for completion. Once completed, the form should be submitted for evaluation

- Visit the TUT application portal at tut.ac.za.
- Click on the “study @ TUT” link
- Log in with your South African ID or passport number.
- Fill out the online application form, including the REQUIRED/COMPULSORY Field.
- Upload all supporting documents, scanned and uploaded individually, not exceeding 5MB or 572KB.
- Pay the application fee for the academic year 2026 and upload the receipt.
- Submit the fully completed online application form for the academic year 2026.
- Ensure all documents are certified, scanned in Tiff, pdf, jpg, or GIF file formats, and uploaded as separate attachments.
