How to Apply for UFH Academic programmes

Follow these steps carefully to ensure your application is complete and successful:

Admission Requirements for UFH 2027

For admission to the University of Fort Hare (UFH), prospective applicants must have a National Senior Certificate (NSC) with the necessary subject combinations and achievement levels.

The minimum requirements for entering a Bachelor’s degree at UFH are:

  • An achievement rating of 4 (50–59%) or higher in English Home Language or English First Additional Language.
  • An achievement rating of 4 (50–59%) or higher in four subjects, plus at least a rating of 2 (30–39%) in one subject.
  • An achievement rating of 4 (50–59%) or higher in Life Orientation.

To study at the University of For Hare, the minimum Admission Point Score (APS) needed is 26 points or higher, depending on the program (Calculate your APS).
