The University of Venda (UNIVEN) is accepting applications for 2025 admission. Applications are open until September 26, 2024 and can be downloaded from their website. Be sure to submit all required documents with your application. Don’t wait until the last minute to apply, late applications will be rejected.

Application Period: Applications are open from April 1st to September 26th, 2024 (with a few exceptions). Check the official website (https://www.univen.ac.za/) for details on postgraduate closing dates.

• Completed application form: Ensure all required fields are filled out.
• Valid email address and phone number: We’ll use this to stay in touch.
• Certified documents: This includes your latest academic results, ID, and all relevant certificates.
• Meet course requirements: Make sure you have the necessary academic background for your chosen program.

Late Applications: We may consider applications received after the deadline if space is available. However, applying on time is highly recommended.

Prospective applicants for the academic year 2024-2025 must pay a non-refundable application fee of R 100, which applies to both South African and foreign citizens.

Univen Application Requirements for 2025-2026

Are you done filling it out? Attach the following documents before you submit them.

• Copy of your identity document or passport
• Copy of Senior Certificate or Statement of Symbols, Matriculation
• Copy of school examination results certified by the school principal (if still at school)
• Academic record and certificate of good conduct (if you have already studied at a tertiary
• institution)
• Copy of Study/Residence Permit/Medical Insurance/SAQA Evaluation Certificate (if you are an
• international applicant)

Completed application forms and accompanying documents must be submitted to the Admissions Office. You can submit your application form and accompanying documents in two ways i.e. by mail or in person

• Complete the form in full and answer all questions.
• Write in block letters in the squares.
• Mark only the appropriate answer with an X in the squares where options are given.
• Please use a black pen.
• Completed application forms must be returned to the University either by certified/ordinary mail/registered post before 26 September 2024

Follow the steps below to upload all the outstanding documents

Please visit the application portal at https://www.univen.ac.za

• Going to My Access Portal
• Login as a Student using your student Number and Pin
• Go to Student Enquiry, then
• Go to Certificate Seen
• Choose the type of document you want to upload and
•  Click on Load/View Document and upload the document

• The minimum points for admission to a Bachelors Degree study is 26 and can be reviewed by Senate from time to time
