Please note that manual or walk-in applications will not be accepted.

How to Complete UNIVEN Application Form for 2026

To successfully complete the University of Venda’s undergraduate application form, follow these steps:

Step 2: Start Your Online Application

Enter your ID number (either South African ID or valid Passport).

Step 3: Create a 5-Digit PIN

Choose a memorable 5-digit PIN that you can easily recall.

Simply click the “Save” option to store your progress.
You can log in anytime later to continue where you left off using your 5-digit PIN.

Admission Requirements for the University of Venda

To qualify for admission into a bachelor’s degree, diploma, or higher certificate programme at the University of Venda, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Prospective undergraduate students applying for degree programs at the University of Venda must meet the following criteria:

National Senior Certificate (NSC) with an achievement rating of 4 (50-59%) in at least four 20-credit subjects.
A minimum of 26 APS points is required.
If you have completed Grade 12, you must have either a bachelor’s exemption or matric exemption to be eligible for admission.

Diploma and Certificate Programmes

Applicants must have an NSC with an achievement rating of 3 (40-49%) in four 20-credit subjects.
