University of Limpopo has officially released the 2027 application time table, including both the opening and closing dates for each programme offered. UL Application Dates For 2027

University of Limpopo will only process and consider applications for the 2027 academic intake if they are submitted within the official application period, which runs from 1 June to 31 October 2026.

Prospective students are advised to ensure that their applications are completed and submitted within this timeframe. Applications received after the closing date will not be accepted, and applicants who miss the deadline will need to wait for the next application cycle, as late submissions are not permitted for the January 2027 intake.

Prospective applicants must take note of the following:

  • Admission depends on the required Admission Point Score (APS) and space availability for each programme.
  • Meeting the minimum APS does not guarantee admission because programmes may have limited spaces.
  • Application fee must be paid before the closing date

How to Apply at UL Online for Admission 2027

Complete your UL 2027 online application form by following the steps below:

  • Go to www.ul.ac.za
  • Select Online Applications.
  • Agree to POPI Act
  • Click the “Next Button” to proceed.
  • List all relatives and payment-responsible parties’ full names.
  • Enter your address and phone number.
  • Select your qualification type (e.g., undergraduate or postgraduate).
  • Enter your last school leaving certificate number and matriculation/Grade 12 year.
  • Fill in all required fields, including personal and academic details.
  • Enter the name of your most recent high school.
  • Choose at least 3 study courses.
  • Upload all necessary supporting documents. Documents to Upload include:
    • Identity Document
    • Proof of English proficiency
    • Final Grade 11 results
    • Academic record
    • USAF accreditation
    • Passport
    • Guardian/parent’s ID or passport if you are younger than 18 years
    • National Senior certificate
    • South Africa’s Medical aid cover
    • Student Visa
  • Review all information to ensure it is correct.
  • Confirm the accuracy of your details and submit your application.
  • Pay the non-refundable application fee and upload the proof of payment.
  • Receive an application confirmation and track your application status through your portal
