The University of Venda (UNIVEN) welcomes applications from eligible candidates who meet the minimum admission requirements and wish to apply for programmes that are still accepting late applications. The 2027 late application period is limited to selected programmes that remain open, and admission will be considered subject to the availability of places in each programme.
When to Apply for UNIVEN 2027 Late Applications
Prospective students applying for the selected programmes available during the University of Venda (UNIVEN) late application period must ensure that their applications, together with all required supporting documents, are submitted between 16 January and 31 January 2027. Applications received after the closing date will not be considered, as the selection process commences immediately thereafter. To avoid missing out, applicants are encouraged to submit their applications as early as possible.

UNIVEN Minimum Entry Requirements
To apply for undergraduate studies at the university of Venda (UNIVEN), you need to satisfy the following minimum requirements
- National Senior Certificate (NSC) / NSC with Diploma or Bachelor endorsement
- A good APS score (generally 19 – 28 APS)
- English: Level 3 – 5 depending on qualification
- Mathematics / Technical Mathematics: Level 3 – 4
- Some programmes may require portfolio, interview, or job shadowing experience
