The University of the Western Cape (UWC) is inviting applications for the 2025-2026 academic year. This is exciting news for students looking to pursue a degree or diploma program at UWC. The application process is now open and will close on September 30, 2024, at noon. Don’t wait until the last minute to submit your application! The University of the Western Cape (UWC) Application 2025-2026

Applicants to the University of the Western Cape (UWC) must meet the following requirements:

• Apply to the University of the Western Cape (UWC) by the application deadlines – Open from May 13th to September 30th, 2024.
• All required documents must be certified (Latest results, ID, Academic certificates and the rest)
• All academic requirements of the courses chosen must be met.
• Have a valid and operational email address and phone number
• Ensure that all required fields are filled out.

UWC Application Dates For 2024-2025

Prospective students interested in attending the University of the Western Cape for the 2025 academic year should note the following application deadlines: The online application system will open on May 13, 2024. However, deadlines to apply for specific programs vary. Be sure to submit your application by the following deadlines:

• BA Honours Sports Recreation and Exercise Science, BA Honours in Biokinetics and BSC Honours Biokinetics: July 31, 2024
• Bachelor of Dentistry and Oral Health programs and postgraduate degrees from the School of Government: August 31, 2024
• Transfer applications for 2025: September 30, 2024
• All other undergraduate and postgraduate programs, and Re-Admission Applications for undergraduate courses: September 30, 2024.

Please note that late applications will not be accepted. Applicants are encouraged to submit their applications as early as possible to ensure they are considered for admission.

How to Apply to UWC

• Applicants are encouraged to apply online via the online application portal
• Applicants wanting to submit a hardcopy application may download the form from the University website and submit their application form at the University or via post.

Important note:

• Faxed and email forms will not be accepted.
• Never submit a form to anyone claiming to be a representative of UWC. Only forms that are submitted via post or hand-delivered to the Admissions Office will be accepted.

Application Requirements of UWC For 2025-2026 Admissions

Attach the following documents:

• A senior certificate or a certified copy of your NSC certificate
• Certified Good Conduct Certificate from your current or former university
• Module content and Yearbook descriptors from your institution for all of the completed
• Modules, certified official academic transcript
• Certificate for a certified degree (if applicable)
• Your identification document, certified (ID)
