Which Tvet Colleges Are Open For Application 2023-2024

The online application forms for all TVET COLLEGES in South Africa are now open to all prospective students interested in studying a technical and vocational course for the academic year 2023-2024. There are approximately 50 Tvet colleges in South Africa, and all are open to new and returning students. Tvet Colleges will accept online applications from 1 April 2023 to 31 October 2023.

All 50 Tvet colleges in South Africa offer a wide range of courses. All NCV and NATED courses are currently open to prospective students interested in enrolling for the academic year 2023-2024. When should you apply for Tvet Colleges in South Africa for the academic year 2023-2024?

Prospective students, workers, learners, or employees interested in taking a course will be able to access the application form after April 1, 2023. The application period for the academic year 2023-2024 runs from April 1 to October 31, 2023. All documents must be submitted by October 31, 2023. Any forms completed and submitted after October 31, 2023, will not be considered for admissions for the academic year 2023-2024.

What you will require to apply for a Tvet college course in South Africa for the academic year 2023-2024

When applying to any of South Africa’s colleges to study a course, you must do the following:

  • To help them choose a course, all first-time applicants must take a placement or career guidance test.
  • You must obtain a brochure from your chosen college and learn about the entry requirements for the chosen course.
  • You must select a campus that offers your desired course.
  • All documents must be scanned and certified before being submitted to your preferred college.
  • Learn how to apply to your desired college.
  • You must have a functional and active email address.
  • A bit of specific information about your Next of Kin

Your preferred college’s entry and minimum requirements for 2023-2024

To pursue an NCV or NATED course, prospective applicants must have a passing grade between 9 and 12. This is the bare minimum for taking or learning a vocational or technical qualification.

Application Fee for Tvet Colleges

It is free to apply to study for a National Accredited Technical Educational Diploma (NATED) or a National Certificate Vocation (NCV). To study NATED or NCV courses, you will not be required to pay an application fee.

Tvet Colleges Application Requirements for 2023-2024

When applying to any of the colleges, you must submit the following documents.

  • A copy of the Identity Document of an applicant
  • Proof of Proficiency ( Foreign students only
  • Copy of recent results.
  • A certified copy of a passport (Foreign students)
  • The applicant’s Parent or Guardian ID
  • A valid and working email address of an applicant
