The available programmes include Higher Certificates, Diplomas, Bachelor’s degrees, B.Ed. programmes, Advanced Diplomas, Postgraduate Diplomas, and Honours programmes.

If you missed the earlier application deadline, this is your opportunity to apply for the 2027 intake. However, late applications are only available for programmes with remaining spaces, so applicants are encouraged to apply as soon as the window opens.

Who Is Qualified to Apply for Late Admissions?

CPUT Late Application Fee For 2027

How to Apply for 2027 CPUT Late Admissions

Follow the steps below to complete the 2027 late applications

  • Visit the CPUT official website at cput.ac.za/late applications.

  • Create an online application account if you don’t already have one.
  • Log in to your account and complete the online application form. Be sure to provide accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Upload all required supporting documents, such as academic transcripts, identification documents, and any other necessary materials.

Only the following categories are allowed to follow the manual application process:

CPUT Undergraduate Application Requirements for 2027

If you are applying for an undergraduate course at CPUT, you must submit the following documents.

  • Copy of the proof of payment of your application fee
  • ID Document
  • A certified copy of your Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification
  • Certified copies of the original Academic record and Certificate of Conduct, or certified copies of other certificates/ diplomas/ degrees (Transfer Students Only)
  • Permanent Residency applicants: Passport and Proof of Permanent Residency/SA ID Document/Card
  • Refugee/Asylum seeker temporary permit/formal recognition of refugee status in the RSA
  • Passport
  • School leaving certificate should be submitted with the English translation of the certificate
  • SAQA Evaluation certificate
  • A scratch card (for students from the West African Examination Council (WAEC) and National Examinations Council (NECO).
  • Congo-Brazzaville applicants must submit the Liste des Admis au Bac
  • A certified copy of your school-leaving certificate, together with an English translation
  • Letter confirming registration for the upgrading of your results (SA Citizen currently upgrading Grade 12 results (including upgrading at any TVET College)
