  • Those who did not submit an application within the regular application window (up to three options).
  • We regret to inform you that the Dean’s Discretionary process will not consider fourth choices.

  • Students at CPUT who have taken a break from their coursework.

CPUT Undergraduate Application Requirements for 2024-2025

If you are applying for an undergraduate course at CPUT, you must submit the following documents.

  • Copy of the proof of payment of your application fee
  • ID Document
  • A certified copy of your Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification
  • Certified copies of the original Academic record and Certificate of Conduct, or certified copies of other certificates/ diplomas/ degrees (Transfer Students Only)
  • Permanent Residency applicants: Passport and Proof of Permanent Residency/SA ID Document/Card
  • Refugee/Asylum seeker temporary permit/formal recognition of refugee status in the RSA
  • Passport
  • School leaving certificate should be submitted with the English translation of the certificate
  • SAQA Evaluation certificate
  • A scratch card (for students from the West African Examination Council (WAEC) and National Examinations Council (NECO).
  • Congo-Brazzaville applicants must submit the Liste des Admis au Bac
  • A certified copy of your school-leaving certificate, together with an English translation
  • Letter confirming registration for the upgrading of your results (SA Citizen currently upgrading Grade 12 results (including upgrading at any TVET College)
